No more ingrown hairs: homemade skin exfoliator

Do you suffer from ingrown hairs? If you're like me, it seems that no matter what kind of hair removal you use (shaving, plucking, waxing) those tiny hairs get stuck when they grow back.

Well here's an easy homemade DIY exfoliating formula you can use to keep your skin smooth and free of ingrown hairs.

Homemade Exfoliating Serum:

Uncoated Aspirin
Rubbing Alcohol

1. First you'll want to crush the aspirin as much as possible.
2. Pour the aspirin into the bottle you'll be using to store the serum.
3. Add alcohol to the bottle, shake. Keep adding alcohol until all the aspirin is dissolved. It's okay if all the aspirin doesn't dissolve, you can just top off with more alcohol as you use it up.
4. Let the mixture sit for at least one day.
5. Just use this serum every time you shave, wax, or tweeze and you'll stay ingrown free!

My LiLash Stimulator Review - An Honest Buyer Experience

by Kate Minogue

Have you tried everything out there to get longer natural looking eyelashes? Eyelash extensions that rip out chunks of your lashes? Even cutting your lashes and smearing your eyes in vaseline to make them grow (it's an urban legend btw)? Or dozens of eyelash conditioners only to be disappointed and poorer?

With so many eyelash growth products out there, it's difficult to know what actually works without wasting tons of time and money sorting through it all.

Well don't give up hope yet because I'm about to show you one of the few products to make eyelashes grow that actually works. This is my LiLash stimulator review.

At first glance, LiLash looks just like all the other eyelash growth products out there. It is one of the more expensive ones, costing $139.97 for one tube. I was hesitant at first, but there's a 90 day money back guarantee and an offer for free UPS ground shipping. I figured what the heck, if it doesn't work, then I'll just ask for a refund.

I used LiLash twice a day only on my top lashes. This is the really important part that everybody seems to miss. It says it right there on the packaging and website that applying LiLash to your bottom lashes may cause irritation.

I can testify that LiLash is gentle enough for sensitive eyes (like mine) so long as it is applied correctly. I remembered reading some LiLash stimulator reviews where people claimed LiLash caused stinging and red eye. Well apparently they were applying more than the recommended amount and using LiLash on both their top and bottom lashes, exactly what the directions tell you not to do! No wonder their eyes were irritated. Less is definitely more especially with eyelash conditioners that are used so close to the eyes.

A single layer of LiLash across your top lashline once in the morning and once at night is all you'll need. Just follow the directions and you'll get the best results.

Once I started using LiLash I kept checking myself out whenever I walked past a mirror or window. I didn't really notice anything until the end of the second week. Was it my imagination or were my eyelashes starting to curl on their own?

Apparently I wasn't hallucinating as my lashes now brush against my glasses. My mornings are so much simpler now that I don't have to mess with layers of lengthening mascara and false lashes everyday.

Now I'm not going to make outrageous claims that you'll instantly look like you got a face lift. This is a real LiLash stimulator review and I just want you to get an realistic idea about the product. However, LiLash did same me endless hours of my time and most of all my sanity. For that I fully recommend LiLash to you, this eyelash conditioner really works.

Why Are My Eyelashes Falling Out?

by Kate Minogue

Just like the rest of the hair on your body, your eyelashes will fall out from time to time. This is perfectly normal. The medical term for this is medarosis from the Greek word "madaros" which means bald.

However, if your eyelashes are falling off in great numbers, there may be a medical issue that needs to be fixed. Lash loss can be caused by infections, hormonal imbalances, and irritation.

If your eyelashes are falling out from vigorous rubbing, try to use a makeup remover that works without rubbing. You should also switch to non waterproof mascaras which are easier to remove. If you use an eyelash curler, try not to curl to close to your lash line since this can tug on your lashes. An occasional pull won't do much harm, but curling your eyelashes everyday can cause them to fall out.

Blepharitis can be caused by mites, viral, and bacterial infections. Not only is this dangerous for your eyesight, but the hair follicles may be damaged and your eyelashes may grow back at odd angles.

Endocrine disorders can change the balance of hormones in your body. Since hormones are the master signals that change growth, your eyelashes may be growing back thinner, more brittle, and less healthy. The rest of your hair, not just your eyelashes may become dull, brittle, coarse and start falling off in large clumps.

If you're losing hair all over your body, you may have an autoimmune disorder. Madarosis can occur with alopecia as your body turns on itself and starts attacking its own cells.

If you suspect a medical condition is causing your eyelash loss, please see a medical specialist. However, once the underlying illness or disease is cured, your lashes may still need stimulation to regrow.

Eyelash growth serums like LiLash grow the appearance of long, thick, and shiny lashes naturally. LiLash is clinically tested to coat and treat your lashes to give you results in just a few weeks.

Even if your eyelashes are just breaking instead of falling off, LiLash contains vitamins and minerals that condition your lashes. Eyelash extension wearers swear by LiLash and notice better extension support and less lashes breaking with LiLash.

Oh My God! Do Eyelashes Grow Back?

If you have sparse eyelashes, even the loss of one lash may send you into a panic. Generally, lash hairs randomly fall off and are replaced by new ones without our even noticing it. However, in some people, their eyelash regrowth cycle is slower than normal which makes it look like they have less lashes.

In a healthy person, eyelashes go from it's dormant state to actively growing in about two months. This means that most lashes are at most 8 weeks old.

There are several causes for loss of eyelashes. Either from disease such as hypothyroidism or physical damage to the individual hair follicles from chemicals or eyelash curlers.

If your hair follicles are merely shocked and not permanently damaged, then your eyelashes will grow back once your body is healthy enough to support them.

Lashes that fell out because of ill health will come back once the underlying illness or malnutrition is taken care of.

Lashes that were pulled out from too much rubbing or tugging will regrow as the eyelash enters it's new hair cycle.

An eyelash grower stimulates the hair follicles and extends the hair's growth cycle. These eyelash growth products make eyelashes grow faster for a longer time.

Eyelash growth serums like LiLash are easy to use. Just apply them to your lash line like eyeliner under your makeup and you'll start to see results in just weeks.

Use LiLash twice a day, to get double the effects in half the time. LiLash is formulated with mild ingredients so even people with sensitive eyes can achieve luscious looking lashes.
